Since the very first in 1946, the uniform is a real working tool the functions of which are very specific:

- He allows an easy identification of the agent (in airport, in the plane, in agencies).
-
It helps to structure the relation passenger / customer by inspiring a certain authority, by reassuring on the competence and the professionalism of the person which wears it.

- It contributes to the cohesion of a team or a crew and asserts the membership in Air France.

Its basic colour is the navy blue, the colour of Air France for 70 years.

At the end of 1960s, the Company tries to become the messenger of the French creation all over the world.

She thus asks the biggest fashion house to create the uniforms of the hostesses, which become the ambassadresses of the French chic.

From Christian Dior to Pierre Balmain, from Nina Ricci to Jean Patou and, tomorrow Christian Lacroix, a history of fashion and style which tells the evolution of the tendencies of various times.
